ONE28: The Ultimate Music Request App for DJs

by
Music requests are always important for clients and guests, and sometimes incredibly annoying for us DJs. Having to work through playlists (usually Spotify) of up to 200 tracks for private events is often tedious and unpaid work from home. Since I'm always up-to-date with new technologies and innovations... Read more

Labyrinth: A journey through emotions with "The Feels"

by
As a DJ, keeping up with new music is essential to me. For me, there's nothing worse than fellow DJs who seem to be stuck in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, stagnating in their own musical rut and refusing to give new music a chance... Read more

TRETTMANN in Munich

by
In March, the time had finally come, and the Trettmann concert was just around the corner. I'd been looking forward to it since last year, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. A sold-out concert hall, a minimalist stage, a powerful sound, and all the hits you know, performed brilliantly live and supported by the visuals. What a fantastic evening... Read more

Most played Songs in 2022

by
Weiterlesen

Streaming for DJs - a self-test

by
As a full-time DJ for all kinds of events (except German pop, après-ski, and party music – I'm totally out of that scene), I rely on new music. I receive promotional tracks and then compile the latest songs myself from various sources. Since streaming has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, and also... Read more

Sustainability in the event industry

by
During the pandemic, everything was kind of at a standstill, and people were more focused on survival than on new developments and innovations. Personally, I used the time to produce my own music and launch two record labels into the music industry. Therefore, everything related to the events industry was... Read more

Pioneer CDJ 3000 with Traktor Pro

by
When I had the opportunity to play at a top-notch venue at the last summer festival, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they already had the new Pioneer CDJ 3000 players. This certainly makes life easier for a mobile DJ, and I must say they work perfectly with Traktor Pro 3. One thing to note beforehand, of course... Read more
