Most played Songs in 2022

by
Weiterlesen

Streaming for DJs - a self-test

by
As a full-time DJ for all kinds of events (except German pop, après-ski, and party music – I'm totally out of that scene), I rely on new music. I receive promotional tracks and then compile the latest songs myself from various sources. Since streaming has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, and also... Read more

Insomnia

by
... Weiterlesen

Sennheiser IE 100 PRO

by
Headphones are one of the essential tools for a DJ to do a good job. Since I was on the road a lot again in 2022, it's crucial for me to play with good headphones. Firstly, because if the sound quality isn't right, I'll be done with them after three or four gigs... Read more

Sustainability in the event industry

by
During the pandemic, everything was kind of at a standstill, and people were more focused on survival than on new developments and innovations. Personally, I used the time to produce my own music and launch two record labels into the music industry. Therefore, everything related to the events industry was... Read more

DJ Laptop Stand

by
As a full-time DJ who travels a lot, you're always optimizing the equipment you lug around. During the pandemic, this fell by the wayside and wasn't really necessary or even possible (supply issues, financial constraints, etc.). But in 2022, it was time to upgrade some gear... Read more

Customer feedback real

by
Every season there's an event, a wedding, that's simply amazing. Everything is just perfect: the location, the guests, everything about it. After the industry, and I myself, had to celebrate with the brakes on for the last two years due to Corona, 2022 was almost back to normal... Read more

Classification of DJ prices - The price is right

by
Weiterlesen

Pioneer CDJ 3000 with Traktor Pro

by
When I had the opportunity to play at a top-notch venue at the last summer festival, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they already had the new Pioneer CDJ 3000 players. This certainly makes life easier for a mobile DJ, and I must say they work perfectly with Traktor Pro 3. One thing to note beforehand, of course... Read more

The best and most sustainable advertising

by
In the DJ sector, particularly for events, weddings, and birthdays, advertising is sometimes necessary. This includes publishing in various wedding and business magazines, as well as on social media. If you don't advertise, you'll die, and I personally advertise very selectively because the market is highly competitive, and in this DJ field... Read more

Half-time 22

The first six months of 2022 have already passed, and since I'm currently serving another COVID quarantine, I've finally found the time to write about a few things. The picture you see was taken in May of this year at my first three-day event of the year. ... Read more

If the customer no longer responds

by
Weiterlesen

This year, the Long Night of Museums took place again in Munich on October 16th.
