by
Native Instruments Traktor S5 Controller
2021 is already two months old, and you could say that not much has changed since 2020. As a full-time DJ, you're still condemned to inactivity, and the lockdown was tightened again before Christmas and New Year's. That pesky C is still around, merrily mutating away... Read more

Time to say thank you

by

Weiterlesen

by
DJ Service of the Year - MUNICH Prestige Award 2020. When I started out as a DJ and booking agent, I never dreamed I'd one day receive an award for my work. Then, in the fall of 2019, I was contacted by the guys from the Prestige Award in England with the news that I... Read more

The last words about...

by
"The last words about Corona" or why I no longer feel like writing about it. As a self-employed DJ, musician, and artist, in 2020 I was told by politicians and society that I was neither systemically important, nor worthy of sensible and effective emergency aid measures, nor even seen by society as... Systemically important? Only when it comes to paying taxes...

by
Weiterlesen

Lack of appreciation for art, culture and music

by
DJ Mixer Nops
In times of crisis "whose name must no longer be spoken," one might think that values like solidarity and understanding would actually regain importance in our fast-paced and capitalist society. But unfortunately, the exact opposite is true, and I, too, am currently giving a lot of thought to many things in my own circle... Read more

It's a BEATZECAT

by
In these times of crisis, whose name must no longer be spoken, and because DJs currently have a bit more time on their hands than usual, I decided to finally make a long-held dream a reality: my own small music label where I can release my own songs and give talented newcomers a chance... Relaxation or responsibility

by
July 2020, the situation, or rather the crisis whose name must not be spoken, remains unchanged, and as a DJ during the Corona lockdown and a virtual work ban, one observes the news and developments regarding easing restrictions and responsible behavior very closely and meticulously. Because one doesn't lose hope that things will eventually... Read more

CORONA Thoughts

by
Weiterlesen

Opening dances for weddings

by
Since I myself once danced Standard and Latin in Bavaria's lowest tournament class (yes, hard to believe, and it was quite a while ago), I'm still pretty good at figuring out which dance goes with which current song and always find it funny (to myself) when my guests then... Read more
