As a full-time DJ who travels a lot, you're always optimizing the equipment you lug around. During the pandemic, this fell by the wayside and wasn't really necessary or even possible (supply issues, financial constraints, etc.). But in 2022, it was time to upgrade some gear, and since my laptop stand was getting old and I wasn't particularly happy with all the USB hub paraphernalia that Mac users inevitably have to lug around, I started looking for a suitable and functional laptop stand.

After some research, I came across the RELOOP STAND HUB. As you can see in the picture above, it's already in regular use. Reloop has provided a stand with a simple and straightforward folding mechanism, and it also features an integrated USB 3.0 port/hub, allowing you to charge your MacBook via USB-C using this stand.

Okay, at first the stand feels a bit wobbly, but that's due to the mechanism, and once a laptop is on it, it's not wobbly at all, unless you type with the force of a woodpecker searching for a nesting site. All in all, the stand is stable, easy to assemble, all the USB ports are recognized, and it fits in any DJ bag in the included case.

For me, it's a great product and probably, unless the hub or the mechanism breaks down at some point, the last laptop stand I'll ever buy... (and it looks stylish too...)
