It's been 74 days now since I last played live as a DJ, and nobody knows when things will return to normal. But as it says on my homepage, "my world will always revolve around music, even if it comes to a standstill," and so I've become a lockdown producer...

Since I've always been able to keep myself occupied, I'm now honing my remix and production skills every day. With Ableton, Maschine, and Komplete Kontroll, I have three powerful tools at my disposal that allow you to do a tremendous amount and unleash your creativity. As always, getting started isn't easy, but just go for it, work your way through countless tutorials, and gradually the results will improve, leading to small successes. But don't forget to switch off every now and then...

You can't always be sitting in front of the computer, even though it's incredibly fun. You also need to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and switch off for a while, because that provides new inspiration for music. I'm currently working on three different remixes and two original tracks. So you can look forward to what the next few months will bring musically...
