The Schabernackt (SBN for short) is a very special ball, unique in Europe, where the name or motto says it all. 2020 marked the 42nd anniversary of the SBN.
The guests are usually lightly costumed (after leaving their coats at the cloakroom).
The party continues until the early morning with live music and disco sounds from the live DJ.
Guests are arriving from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
"Schabernackt" balls are carnival events where attendees are predominantly dressed in revealing costumes. One of the most famous balls of this type is the traditional Munich Schabernackt.
